Remember when Lady Gaga returned to pop earlier last year? Remember how the Rain On Me music video created yet another iconic moment in pop culture? Well, Gaga is back again, serving us with a sense of familiarity sprinkled with foreignness. The Dawn of Chromatica remix album allowed me to relive the Chromatica album like it was the first time while also provided with new perspectives on the songs, hearing it the way it would be if other respected artists produced it, with some being: Rina Sawayama, Charli XCX, and Lil Texas.

It was quite a surprise that Gaga had this in store for us when she had movies to film and a new album to record with Tony Bennett; which is one thing that I can always appreciate Gaga for, her hardworking attitude. Though I was going to say I am looking forward to Gaga’s next project, it actually hit me that I might hear from Gaga sooner than I expect. Until then, at least I’ll have this remix album to nod my head to as I wait.
